The Sants area is a 10-minute metro ride from the city center and has its own sense of community distinct from the rest of the city. Barcelona Sants train station (Estació de Sants) is the focal point of the area and is one of the largest and best-connected stations in Barcelona with direct trains to the airport and destinations outside of Barcelona. It is close to the beautiful Plaça Spain and Montjuïc, where there are attractions such as Poble Espanyol, the Magic Fountain and the Fira Barcelona event rooms. In the other direction, you may want to stroll around the Camp Nou, the FC Barcelona field, or shop at the L'Illa complex in Diagonal. As for social life, there are many lovely restaurants in the area, as well as some decent bars and the well-known Space Club is a 2-minute walk from the station.Sants even has his own little festival in August, where the streets get dressed and everyone dances at night to make rum and coke stalls .
